  1. CHIEF'S INSTALLER PRO (for Windows).
  2. This program is an "off the shelf"
  3. installation package for Windows
  4. programs. It can be used to install
  5. Windows packages of almost any size
  6. (up to 64 installation disks). The
  7. files may be compressed (with MS
  8. COMPRESS.EXE) or uncompressed. Both
  9. types of file are handled transparently.
  10. The installer will optionally create
  11. Program Manager groups and icons.
  12. The package also includes an UNINSTALLER
  13. which can be used to "uninstall" any
  14. package that was installed with Chief's
  15. Installer. This takes the risk out of
  16. installing Windows packages.
  17. The installer provides support for
  18. PARTIAL and OPTIONAL installations, and
  19. for languages other than English.
